mibbit sucks

i am coding a superior ajax irc client
right now it is utter shit but all that's left to do is on the frontend so i guess thats cool

things that work:
you can join #sandcastle
type in the box, press send, people see your message
people type in their own boxes and you can see it

things that dont work yet:
anything else

if you really want to:
type a irc command (such as "PRIVMSG person :TEXT GOES HERE") and hit send raw

it's fairly slow to start for me, is that on purpose?

right now it can only read one line from the server at a time and it reads once per second

this is an issue i'm trying to fix

but yeah it's gonna do nothing for a while while its reading all the initial messages from the server
